Randy Slaugh is a GRAMMY-nominated, Billboard #1 music producer and composer based in Los Angeles. For the past 15 years, he has built an independent career collaborating with artists, producers, directors, and media brands to create emotionally driven, cinematic music across a wide variety of genres.

His production and arrangement work has contributed to over 2 billion streams through collaborations with Jelly Roll, Yelawolf, David Archuleta, Devin Townsend, Architects, Skillet, Sleeping With Sirens, Story of the Year, and The Amity Affliction. Known for bringing cinematic depth to modern rock, pop, and metal, his long-standing impact in the heavy music space, including a GRAMMY nomination for Periphery’s “The Price is Wrong,” led Rolling Stone to name him “modern metal’s go-to composer.” His work with artists also extends to shaping their live shows, having crafted custom playback and interlude arrangements for performances at Madison Square Garden, Red Rocks, Download Festival, and more.

In the media space, Slaugh’s compositions have appeared in over 1,000 episodes of television, spanning Golden Globe- and Emmy-winning series such as Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS: Los Angeles, global franchises including 90 Day Fiancé, Project Runway, and Shark Week, national ad campaigns for brands like Converse and Bombas, and two Super Bowl broadcasts. His work ranges from dark electronic textures and modern hip-hop-influenced production to cinematic orchestration and atmospheric sound design, always in service of the emotional tone of the project.

Outside the studio, Slaugh is an active member of the GRAMMYs’ Producers & Engineers Wing, the Society of Composers and Lyricists, and the Heavy Music Awards voting panel.
